These are some of the happy endings we have created courtesy of the many caring individuals that have adopted our rescues over the years.

Princess Fiona Fiona has a new home in the Dallas area where she is the keeper of two young ladies! Thank you Debbie & Family!

Mikey Mikey now lives in New Mexico where he is the center of attention and newest member of a wonderful new family! Thank you Yvonne!

Cameron Cameron, lady that is she, now lives the life of a princess in Kansas! Thank you Rodenbur's!

Janie Janie and Stubby have been adopted together and will be making there new home in the Austin area! Thank you Tammy & Family!

Sammie Sammie has moved to his new home in Albuquerque! He has another canine companion and a big yard to call his own!

Rosebud Rosebud has flown to her new home in Florida! I hope she gets to see Disney world! Thank you Christine!

Samantha Samantha has a new home in New Mexico where she can sun herself as well as sleep on a cool tile floor! That you Kerry & Brenda!

Fudge Fudge's new home is in Houston, where he has many other chow cousins! Thank you Welsh family!

Boogie Boogie has joined Brina in a wonderful and loving home. Both now live in Minnesota with the Toberman's!

Joy Joy has a new home in the panhandle of Texas where she is the constant companion of Mary Ellen...thank you!

Bree Bree is now living in the Houston area. She has a wonderful new home and family to take care of. Thank you Marci!

Jamaica Jamaica has moved to San Antonio where she has a bichon frise named Fred to keep company as well as her new mom, Marisa...thank you!

Bear Bear now has a new home in Rhode Island with the Wilcox family! Thanks for giving Bear a wonderful new life!

Aztec Aztec now lives in the Chicago area where he is enjoying the life he so deserves....thank you Debra!

Leo Leo has a home in the Houston area where he is the companion of a very sweet young lady. Thank you Angela!

Lucky Lucky has found that very special home he needed in Florida. He has two girl companions plus a human mom to take great care of him.....thank you Kathy!

Mira Mira and her sister Rita were just 6 months old when they were dropped off at a vet clinic by an owner who no longer wanted the responsibility. The vet clinic called us and they were here within a day. Mira is now in her wonderful new home in Idaho.

Cuzco Cuzco is another lucky boy we had. This delightful boy has a great new home in Tucson, AZ. Thank you Amy for opening up your home for Cuzco!

Panda Panda now has a great home with a young single woman. Panda is enjoying her new life, and gets to play with everyone! What a great home for Panda!

Garrett Garrett found his match when a local Lubbock couple came to the kennel to see what dogs were available. They had recently lost their older male chow, and their female was just lost without a buddy and they were lost without a second dog. When they were introduced to Garrett, they knew he was the perfect dog for them, and when Garrett got to their house, the female greeted him like he had always been there. Garrett found his perfect place where he will never go hungry again!

Minnie Minnie is a very small black female. She weighs about 27 pounds, and is only 15 inches tall at the shoulder. She is a delightful girl with a wonderful personality. She is a wonderful chow with a huge heart in a very little package and has found a loving home of her own.

Sweetie Pie SWEETIE PIE Sweetie Pie is everything her name implies. She is just so super sweet and so often comical that you just cannot help but smile and laugh with her every day! Sweetie Pie was found as a stray roaming the streets of San Antonio. She was depressed, she was underweight, she was heartworm positive, and to top it all off, she was pregnant. She was rescued from the streets, given a wonderful warm, quiet place to have and raise her puppies, and was given plenty to eat. Her puppies have all been placed into new homes, and now it is Sweetie Pie's turn to find that special forever home she has been looking for. She is about 2 years old and just a doll. She will make you laugh and she loves to go for walks. Thank you Jill and Paul for providing Sweetie Pie with that forever home!!Ching--This lovable red boy now has a new family to love. He now has plenty of friends and wonderful life ahead of him.

Rico Rico is a wonderful one year old smooth coat chow. What is a smooth coat? Chows come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth. The rough coat is what most people think of when they think of a chow, and rightly so, as it is by far the more common coat type. The smooth coat chow is actually pretty rare. The smooth coat is a much shorter coat, maintaining a length of only a couple inches. Their coat is very standoffish and maintains its beauty and luster with minimal grooming. The smooth coat chow still sheds, but it does not mat up like the rough coated chows tend to. Rico is a wonderful boy who is still very young at heart. At just over a year of age, Rico is starting to settle down out of the puppy stage and is turning into quite a wonderful dog. Rico will be a good companion for a female dog. Rico now has his new home in sunny Florida with his new dad who knew exactly what a smooth coat chow was and was amazed to find one in our rescue program!

Raya Raya is a pretty cinnamon girl who is about 2 years of age. She is a wonderful housedog. Raya is great with cats! She has the most expressive eyes and longs for nothing other than another chance at having a great home. Her new owner was forced to let her very old chow go and was on the phone searching for a new companion as she knew she could not bear to be alone without someone to love. Raya will fit the bill perfectly! Thank you Vicky for providing this little girl with such a wonderful life!

Domino Domino is a stunning black male with gorgeous golden eyes. He is only a year old but is well mannered and a great companion. Domino now has a terrific family to call his own with his very own mom, dad, and little boy to take care of!

Ching Ching--This lovable red boy now has a new family to love. He now has plenty of friends and wonderful life ahead of him.

Cinnamon Cinnamon is a 6 month old living doll. This pretty young red girl wished for a special loving family of her own. Now her dream has come true!

Elijah Elijah was found running loose on the streets of Albuquerque, NM. He finally found someone who he could trust, and sure enough, he was right and they brought him here to rescue! Elijah is 2 years old and is just a delightful boy. His beautiful red coat makes him quite striking. He is a sweet natured boy, calm and quiet. Elijah loves to go for walks through the neighborhood and gets along great with female dogs. He could even handle a cat with a little instruction. Elijah now has a wonderful new home with two kids to take care of!

Klondyke Klondyke is a sweet natured 6 month old cream male. This beautiful outgoing pup has found a happy ending. Klondyke is happy to be with his new family in San Jose, CA!

Snickers Snickers was an adorable 9 week old black female who came to us from a pet shop. She was a typical puppy, full of life and loved to play! She now lives in Colorado and gets all the attention she desires!

Zion Zion was a beautiful 2 year old black male. What a wonderful boy and very much a people dog. Zion now has a wonderful family in the Dallas area.

Hershey Hershey was a handsome black boy about 10 months old. The reddish/brown tint on his coat was from spending a lot of time outside in the sun and will disappear when he gets his adult coat. Hershey moved to North Dakota where he discovered lots and lots of wonderful snow!

Zoey Zoey was a lovely red female and was just a doll. Very sweet and loves people, children are great. She is excellent in the house and loves to go for walks. Zoey now lives in New Jersey!

Blake Blake, this beautiful red male, has been adopted and is now living in wonderful, cool Colorado. Blake is the king of the house in his new loving home!

Paddy Paddy has been adopted and lives in East Texas where she has the life she deserves! She is a house girl with her own bed and is loving every minute of it!

Ginger Ginger has been adopted and now lives on the East coast. She had to wait quite a while for the weather to cooperate so she could fly out to her new home, but it was worth the wait!

Dennis Dennis--Dennis now has a new dad and a couple of kids to look after. Dennis adores them as much as they adore him.What a wonderful life for Dennis.

Ivan Ivan--Ivan moved to Colorado where he now will enjoy hiking and backpacking. An athletic dog for an outdoorsy person, this should be a match made in heaven!

Shoney Shoney--Shoney was a stray from Arizona brought to Texas for the adoption program. She has now been adopted and is enjoying life in her new home.

Midas This Chow Boy now has a wonderful, loving home in the Panhandle of Texas. He now lives in Amarillo, TX.

Kitty Kitty now has the opportunity to visit Dorothy and Toto in the land of OZ. She now has a wonderful home in Kansas.

Mario Mario has moved to North Carolina where he lives the good life with his new family and friends. The first thing Mario did when he met his new family was to sit and "give them five"...it was a great introduction and won them over immediately! Thank you Marjorie!

Lizzie Lizzie was here just a few short days before her new family came to visit. It was love at first sight for everyone and Lizzie now has a wonderful new family to love and be cherished by. A big thanks to the Henry family.

Halle Halle is now living in the DFW area and is the princess of the house. She gets to go for rides in the front seat of the truck (where she belongs!) and sleep next to her new master at night. What more could you ask? Thank you Shane!

Cherry Cherry now has a home with two children and a male chow to play with. She is so happy to have so much attention and loves to be brushed and cuddled. Thank you Jackson family!

Sam Sam is now living in Colorful Colorado where he is enjoying the cool weather! He is looking forward to snow this winter as well. He is the only companion of a young lady who adores him, I think the feeling is mutual! Thank you Vicky!

eugene Eugene is going to live in Minnesota! He is very excited about meeting his new family and has been dreaming about SNOW! (He has never seen it, but we told him all about it) Thank you Victory!

Sammie Sammie now has a home of her own in South Texas where she lives in the house with her new family. She is as content and happy as can be! Thank you Steve!

Tubbs Tubbs is now living in Sunny California (surfs up, dude!) where he is enjoying the cool air and water! Thank you Grace!

Denzel Denzel has moved to his new home where he is now living the "good life"! He has a family to take care of him, and for him to take care of them! Thank you John!

Maximus Maximus is now living in Nevada where he is the king of the house and has all the love and attention he deserves. Thank you Mickey for giving him such a loving home.

Marcie Marcie has been adopted and now lives in San Antonio where she has other dogs to play with and a wonderful family to love her. Thanks Terry & Janet!

Chester Chester now lives in Kansas City. His new family thinks he is just wonderful, which of course he is, and has become an indoor dog. Thanks Amy!

Taz Taz is on his way to Washington State where he will be the only pet and companion of a wonderful couple. He will get daily walks and if he is really good, he might even get to sleep on the bed! Thanks Gail!

Kong Kong is now living the carefree life in the fun and sun of Arizona. His new owner is showing him the ropes of how to be a house dog and sleep on those cool tile floors!

Asia Asia now lives in the New England area where she has a wonderful home and a family who adores her. I am sure she is going to love all that snow!

Vanessa Vanessa has a new home in beautiful Minnesota where she is the queen of the house! She is definitely enjoying her new family and thinks the snow is cool!

Vanilla Vanilla now lives in Houston. She is now princess of the house and will live inside with her new owner and go for daily walks in the park. This beautiful young lady had her picture on everyone's computer at her new owners work place while awaiting her arrival! Thank you Miller!

Simba Simba has a new home in New Mexico with another female chow and a greyhound. He loves to play and the greyhound gives him his daily exercise! He also enjoys his time indoors with his new people. Thank you John & Pat!

Onyx Onyx has a new home with Jeremiah another rescue boy and his wonderful family. She will be a house dog with a couch to lay on and a toddler to look out for. Of Course she will have to share the couch with Jeremiah, but it is big enough for both of them! Thank you Carrie!

Logan Logan almost missed out on his new home by showing no interest in the new visitors. But they were willing to give him a chance and now he has discovered just how wonderful life can be! It is amazing how love and attention can change an attitude! Thank you George and Melba!

Trixie Trixie is now at home in Virginia where there is snow in the winter time for her to run and play in! She will be thrilled! Thank you Sandy!

Christopher had a very rough start early in his life. At 5 weeks old, Christopher and his litter mates were dumped from the back of a truck onto a busy Lubbock street. Luckily life has made an about turn for this sweet Chow pup. He is now in a happy home with 7 kids to play with.

Oliver has his very own home in the DFW area where he is the king of the roost! He is learning some obedience and loves to give kisses. He is disappointed when his new owners will not let him give them a complete bath while giving those kisses! Thank you Carter and Marianne! We know you will enjoy many years with your new companion and friend.

Tasha has a new home in the Austin area! She has a twelve year old male for canine companionship and a new owner who is going to take her to obedience classes. she is pretty smart so should graduate with honors! Thank you Gordon & Mary Ann!

Charlotte has a new home in New Mexico where she will be the apple of her new owners eye! She has always dreamed of being a house dog with a cool floor to lay on and someone to love her and now she has it!

Clover is moving to Wisconsin where she will love the winters! Coming from the South she doesn't know much about snow but I have a feeling it won't take her long to discover just how much fun that can be! Thank you Roxanne!

Frosty & Mugsy have a new home together in San Antonio! Their new owners were not sure they ever wanted another chow after losing their last one to old age. But it did not take them long to realize how much they missed these fur kids and how much loving one can ease the pain of losing one. Thank you Cheryl!

Pepper is now living a happy ending. She lives in New Mexico now and has a wonderful home to call her own.

Henri was adopted by a family in New Mexico where he now has the run of the house and a one and a half acre yard to play in. Plus a 12 year old boy to watch after. Good things do come to those who wait!

Luna and Bandit have moved to Tennessee! They have been adopted by a wonderful family with plenty of room for both, in their home as well as their hearts! Thank you Cathy!

Bogey waited for the right home and he knew which one he wanted when they arrived! He is now very happy with a family and a home of his very own.

Sadie has a wonderful new home in the DFW area of Texas where she now has her very own chair and is treated like a princess. Congratulations Sadie, you deserve it!

Barney now resides in the sunny state of California. The lucky family who adopted him had this to say..."This little house of mine is filled to the brim with unmitigated JOY tonight because at my feet lays the newest member of our little family, a chow named Simba (originally Barney).....The kisses, requests for tummy rubs, and the oh so trusting eyes that seem to thank us for being his forever family, have touched me in a way I never thought possible........He has won my heart and rapped it around his perfect shiny red paws!" Thank you Debbie for giving him a second chance at love.

Gizmo has moved north to New Jersey where he joins another previous rescue named Cinnamon. These two will keep their new Mom happy and busy with their wonderful personalities and antics! Thanks Tina!

Scooter has a new home in the DFW area where he is now in charge of a house full of ladies.....right up his alley! He has moved in and is enjoying all the wonderful things he has only heard about up till now.....We wish you the best!

Eli left for his new home the morning after a horrible thunderstorm. He does not like natures spring time gifts and had a very traumatic night. But was very happy to arrive at his new home where his new friend will keep him company and he can hide under the bed during the next one! Thank you Nyla for loving him as much as we do.

Baloo This outgoing and friendly Chow Chow now lives in a brand new loving home in Houston and has a family to call his own.

Pheobe now as a wonderful home and family in Tulsa where she has a male chow for companionship and a couch to call her own!

Theodore Like a true southern gentleman, Theodore won over his new family with his wonderful manners and loving personality. He now lives in Maryland.

Stoli Stoli was rescued from a shelter in Arlington, Tx. He was extremely matted and under weight. Despite these set backs, he was very happy to see us and was very easy to groom. He has a typical "Chow Attitude". Quiet, easy going and unpretentious. Stoli is housetrained, good with other female dogs, and a joy to have around. Stoli now lives with his new family in Colorado.

Cinnamon Cinnamon's new home on the East coast waited a long time to get her, but she was worth the wait!

Danny "This handsome 2 year old cinnamon boy was found as a stray in Dallas. The animal shelter felt he was too nice to put to sleep so they contacted us. Indeed, Danny is a very nice boy. Very stoic and quiet natured, Danny will come right up and demand attention. Danny is housetrained and would be ideally suited for just about any family looking for the classic chow." Danny moved to Detroit to be with his new "Mom" and her 1 year old daughter.

Maddie "This 2 year old cream girl is quiet, affectionate and excellent in the house. She gets along well with other dogs. Maddie has basic manners, is leash trained, and enjoys long walks." Maddie was adopted to a wonderful family in Colorado.

Marko Marko is a purebred blue male chow who was confiscated from his original owner by the police when they discovered he was using Marko as bait to train his pit bulls to fight. Marko was pretty beat up, had a chipped tooth or two, a bite out of one ear, and cuts and bruises all over. With all he had been through, he was still so sweet, and the police asked us to take him and find him a new home. Marko gets along very well with other dogs, and is not in the least bit aggressive. He adores cats! Marko has gone from "bait" to a cherished pet, a terrific housedog, and a fantastic chow!

Charlie Charlie and Sasha were adopted together by a couple in Ft. Stockton. The couple arrived to adopt one, but could not resist two! Charlie and Sasha have been very devoted kennelmates here at the rescue kennel. They both hopped in the car like they owned it! This is truly a happy ending for both of these dogs.

Samson, Samson was found roaming the streets in Plano, TX. After waiting several days at the shelter for an owner that never came, Samson was transferred to our adoption program. His quiet nature is very typical of a chow, he is a wonderful housedog, he is fond of cats, and is quite well mannered. Samson adores small children, and now has a new children and a family to love. Samson is a great pet for this first-time chow family.

Molly, Molly came to us from the animal shelter in New Boston, TX. Molly is a very pretty girl, wonderful with everyone and everything. Adores children. Soon after Molly arrived, it was discovered that she had Heartworms. A plea for donations to save Molly's life was rewarded, and the money came, allowing us to treat her. Molly is now a healthy, happy girl in her new home in Colorado.

Ransom was with us for quite a while. By heart, Ransom was a housedog, a real sweetheart. He came to us originally as a stray from the San Angelo animal shelter where he was going to be euthanized because he was an adult male Chow. After arriving here we realized just how sweet he realy was. Ransom is one of the reasons we do Chow rescue. We are happy to announce he has a home he can call his own. Companion to a female Chow, 2 kids, and his new "Mom and Dad". Ransom is truely loved.
